The Thing About Me Is,
I am a Spartanburg, South Carolina native majoring in Strategic Communication with a minor in Entrepreneurship at Washington and Lee University.
I currently pursue a career in advertising, combining my coursework in public relations and business courses with my marketing and digital media experiences. At my recent marketing internship based in Greenville, South Carolina, I created and managed content for social media, analyzed key performance indicators to spur follower and engagement growth and produced inter-organization communications for stakeholders and staff.
My expertise spans strategic writing, digital communication, visual branding and web design, with a focus on creating content that visually and purposively connects audiences to organizational objectives.
My Inspiration Derives From...
My interests in world travel, studio art, fashion, jazz music and movies influence my creative perspective and approach to storytelling.
Whether I am simply sketching out an idea or finalizing a pitch deck, I aim to create works that combine simple, thoughtful design with meaningful communication. In my free time, I practice viola and constantly keep my digital camera within an arm's reach.
And In My Spare Time,
I am a member of W&L's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), wherein we work with local clients to improve their visibility and engagement. Weekly meetings include strategizing our marketing efforts, discussing and analyzing real-world PR campaigns and planning networking experiences with industry professionals.
Additionally, I act as Campus Manager for University Tees at W&L, a leading collegiate apparel company. I currently manage 17 client accounts and have generated over $40,000 in sales during my tenure. Additionally, I liaise between clients and University Tees' corporate departments, coordinating with the in-house design team and initiating client communication to ensure a seamless merchandise experience.
I am a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, leading the W&L chapter's merchandise committee since February 2025.
